IU released Monday the full version of the music video “Ending Scene” featuring Kim Soo-hyun.

The track is from her fourth full-length album “Palette” released on Friday.

The music video tells the story of a couple from the first encounter to the breakup. IU and Kim plays the couple.



Kim’s appearance on the music video drew much public attention even before its release as it was Kim’s first music video appearance since his entertainment debut in 2007 and it was IU and Kim’s reunion in two years.

IU and Kim met each other while filming KBS drama “Dream High” in 2011. In 2015, they co-starred on the KBS drama “The Producers” as a couple.

Kim recently starred in the action film “Real” which is set to be released this year. IU made a cameo in the film.

IU topped all eight local music charts -- Melon, Genie, Mnet, Naver Music, Bugs, Olleh Music, Soribada and Monkey3 -- with her lead track “Palette” while her other tracks secured the following top spots on the charts.
