Suzy will host this year’s Baeksang Arts Awards with veteran actor Park Joong-hoon, for the second year in a row.
The annual awards ceremony is one of the biggest in Korea’s entertainment industry, which marks its 53rd year this year.

Last year Suzy replaced Kim Ah-joong who hosted the show from 2010 to 2015 with Shin Dong-yup. This year Shin will be replaced with Park who has won five Baeksang awards, including best new actor in a film (1987), most popular actor in a film (1996) and best leading actor in a film (2000).
Suzy is currently filming the upcoming SBS drama “While You Were Sleeping” and shooting various pictorials.

The 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards will take place at COEX in Seoul on May 3. The ceremony will also be broadcast live on JTBC and JTBC2.
