JTBC’s drama series “Strong Woman Do Bong-soon” wrapped up Saturday with the highest viewership rating among JTBC dramas.

According to media research firm Nielsen Korea, it recorded 8.96 percent in nationwide viewership, 1.13 percentage points higher than the previous episode.

The rom-com drama kicked off its first episode with a 3.8 percent viewership share, while the rating for the second episode rose to 5.8 percent.

Before the 16-episode series surpassed the highest viewership rating record for the Korean cable channel, the last episode of the 2014 drama “Secret Love Affair” had marked the highest viewership share of 5.4 percent.

“Strong Woman Do Bong-soon” ended with Do Bong-soon, played by Park Bo-young, and Ahn Min-hyuk, played by Park Hyung-sik, getting married.
