Kim Soo-hyun will feature on IU’s new music video, the singer’s agency Fave Entertainment said on Wednesday.

“It is first time for Kim Soo-hyun to appear on a music video. (The appearance) was because of the friendship between two,” Kim’s agency Keyeast said.

The track -- the title of which has not yet been disclosed -- will be a part of IU’s upcoming fourth full-length album. It is not yet confirmed whether it will become the lead track of the album.

The song was written by singer-songwriter Sam Kim who was the semi-finalist for SBS’ audition program “K-pop Star 3” and the singer of “Who Are You” from tvN’s hit drama “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.”

Kim and IU met each other while filming KBS drama “Dream High” in 2011. In 2015, they co-starred on the KBS drama “The Producers” as a couple.

Kim recently starred in the action film “Real” which is set to be released this year. IU made a cameo in the film.

IU pre-released the track “Through the Night” on March 24 and will pre-release another track “Love is Well” on Friday for which she collaborated with singer Oh Hyuk. She will release the full-album on April 21.
