Taeyang to roll out new song in May

Taeyang of Big Bang will release a new track in May, the singer said at a promotional event in Seoul on Thursday.

Titled “So Good,” it is a song for the Korean branch of a Japanese automobile brand for which he is an ambassador. Taeyang wrote and composed the song himself.



At the event Thursday, he sang part of the track, which will be released officially in May along with a music video.

Though its member T.O.P enlisted in the army in February, Big Bang is still enjoying high popularity with is recent DVD release in Japan, “BIGBANG10 THE CONCERT: 0.TO.10 -THE FINAL-,” topping two Oricon charts including the daily comprehensive DVD chart.
Another member Daesung recently released “D-Day,” a song from his new Japanese album of the same title, which topped various Japanese music charts including iTunes’ music album chart, the Recochoku album daily ranking and mu-mo album daily ranking.

G-Dragon is currently working on a solo album. Details of the new release have not been confirmed.
