Ahn So-hee tries not to be a coward, she said in a recent interview with a local fashion magazine.

In October 2016, Ahn said in a media interview that she had some regrets about her days as a member of the K-pop group Wonder Girls, because she could not fully enjoy being in the moment as she was too focused on her goals.

“I guess I felt (a lot of) burden and responsibility back then (when I had the interview),” she said. “You become a coward as you feel more burdened. You become frightened on your every single move.”

She said it had a bad influence on both her daily life and her career.

“If you want to be an actor, you have to go out into the world, try different experiences and feel new emotions. I think if I live bravely as ‘Ahn So-hee’ then I will become a better actress,” she said.

The singer-turned-actress stars in the recent thriller film “A Single Rider,” alongside Lee Byung-hun and Gong Hyo-jin.
