2PM’s Wooyoung to release ‘Party Shots’ in Japan

Wooyoung of 2PM will drop his solo album “Party Shots” in Japan on April 19, according to his agency on Monday.

JYP Entertainment, which represents the artist, unveiled a teaser clip for “Party Shots” via social media on Sunday.

The album will feature songs such as “Going Going,” “Wave,” “Formula” and the lead track “Party Shots.”

“Party Shots” is an upbeat song added to a funky beat.

Wooyoung wrote the songs and lyrics for the upcoming album. He also wrote the songs and lyrics for the first solo single.

Wooyoung made his solo debut in Japan in April 2015 with the single “R.O.S.E.” and landed at No. 2 on the Oricon’s Daily chart within 24 hours of its release.

2PM previously planned to hold the four-day concert “6Nights” until March 5, but canceled the remainder of its concerts in Seoul due to an Jun. K’s onstage injury.

Wooyoung is set to perform 10 times across several cities in Japan, including Sapporo, Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, beginning April 4.
