(Newlyweds Diary)

Actress Koo Hye-sun has released a theme song for tvN’s “Newlyweds Diary,” in which she appears with her husband Ahn Jae-hyun.

Koo wrote “Summer Day” while waiting for Ahn who was grocery shopping during an episode of the show. It was released here on Friday at noon.

According to an acquaintance of Koo, the actress had tried to express, through the piano melody of the song, her happiness at being able to live with her husband and pets in a beautiful country surrounded by mountains. She came up with the song on a snowy day.

The couple have been residing in Inje, Gangwon Province, after tying the knot a year earlier.

Koo previously wrote another song, “Winter Story,” for the show, and it was released on Feb. 10.

She will also star in the MBC drama “You’re Too Much” scheduled to be aired Saturday.
