Im Si-wan and Jin Goo on Monday got together for the press conference of the crime film “One Line.”

The movie’s title refers to a scammer’s trick of disguising his entire identity from name and age to occupation.

The plot centers on Min-jae, played by Im, an ordinary university student who meets the legendary veteran scammer Jang, played by Jin Goo. They team up to steal from a bank.

Min-jae is described as a “rising star of the scamming world,” with an innate talent for fooling unsuspecting targets with her smile. Im jokingly said at the press conference, “It was good to not act nice for once.”

Jang is a fraudulent mastermind who sees through people. Jin laughed while explaining his character was “a person who brings down a nice, naive student to the dirty field of loan scams.”

The movie’s director Yang Kyung-mo said the film features stories from many people regarding money and loans.

It will be released on March 29.
