The song’s release coincided with Solar’s 26th birthday Tuesday.
During the broadcast, Solar sat next to a life-size portrait of herself, calling it “her friend named Solee.”
“A Person Who Gives Happiness” is the fourth of the “Solar Sentiments” series dedicated to remaking the forgotten hit songs of veteran singers in Solar’s unique style.
“This is a song I wanted to do even before the third song, ‘In the Dream,’” Solar said.
“But back then I wasn’t sure of how best I could remake it,” she said, expressing happiness at finally completing the work.
In the middle of the broadcast, Solar’s three bandmates made a surprise entrance with a cake to congratulate her on her birthday. Solar received a cotton candy machine as a gift.

They aimed the camera at Chorong and added filter effects to make her look as if she had flames coming out from her ears. They also added a mustache on her face and dressed her up in a dowdy head scarf.
Unaware of what they were doing, Chorong winked for the camera and blew hearts, believing Namjoo and Eunji were adding cute special effects to the picture.
The three were sitting in a Hong Kong-style buffet restaurant.
Apink held its “Pink Aurora Asia Tour” in Hong Kong over the weekend and returned to Korea on Monday.

The group held “Twiceland-The Opening” concerts from Friday to Sunday at Seoul’s Olympic Park.
“If you didn’t make it to our show, don’t worry, all you have to do is watch this broadcast,” said Twice members.
The nine of them lit up a mirror ball and wildly danced to disco music.
They asked if fans were enjoying the show, with Chaeyoung and Sana emphasizing how in order to host the broadcast they had left dinner before they could finish all their meat and naengmyeon, or Korean cold buckwheat noodles.
“Twicecoaster: Lane2,” containing 13 songs, was released Monday. Its lead song “Knock Knock” is topping online charts.
