Museum unveils wax figure of Yoo Jae-suk

A wax figure of comedian Yoo Jae-suk unveiled on Friday, according to the Grevin Museum on Friday.

The Grevin Museum in Seoul, features various wax figures of famous people from all around the world, including Korean singers, actors, historical figures and sports stars.

Yoo visited the Grevin Museum to celebrate the unveiling of his figure on Friday. The 44-year-old comedian was surprised when he actually saw the figure, which looks a like him.

“I hope many people come to the museum to see the wax figures to have a fun time,” he said.

The museum said that it took more than six months to complete the figure. In June, the Grevin workshop team came to Korea from France to do the base work of the figure. The team completed the figure with glasses, sneakers and suit, which were donated by Yoo Jae-suk.

“Yoo Jae-suk is someone who can bring happiness and joy to others,” a general manager of the Grevin museum said. “We hope that all the visitors to the museum will leave feeling happier after seeing Yoo’s wax figure.”
