BTS, Twice to showcase new songs on ‘M Countdown’

BTS and Twice are to perform their new songs on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on Thursday, the music program said.

It will mark the boy band’s first appearance on a music program to showcase “Spring Day” and Twice’s first for “Knock Knock.”

BTS released its latest album “Wings: You Never Walk Alone” on Monday. The album is both a follow-up and extended version of its previous album “Wings,” which was released in October. The new album and the lead track “Spring Day” are already dominating online music markets both at home and abroad.

The boy band is set to showcase its 18-track album at the “2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III the Wings Tour” concerts at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Saturday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, Twice released a teaser music video for its upcoming track “Knock Knock” via JYP Entertainment’s official YouTube account on Thursday at midnight.

The girl group is set to release its new 13-track album “TWICEcoaster: LANE 2” on Monday. “TWICEcoaster: LANE 2” is the repackaged version of the group’s previous album “TWICEcoaster: LANE 1,” which was released in October.

Twice will hold concerts called “Twice Land -- The Opening” from Friday to Sunday at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium at Seoul Olympic Park.
