You Ah-in has been diagnosed with a bone tumor, according to his agency on Wednesday.

“Yoo Ah-in has suffered from a bone tumor, but fortunately the tumor is just benign,” United Artists Agency said. “We’re disconcerted how the medical record of Yoo was revealed.”

It had been speculated that Yoo, 30, was dodging military service. United Artists Agency, however, said that Yoo wants to enlist in full health.

The actor had a shoulder injury while filming “Tough As Iron” in 2013, and the injury worsened after filming “Veteran” in 2015.

He underwent physical exams three times in December for military service. As a result, his military enlistment was postponed.

“Regardless of the matter of military, he will receive another examination in March,” Yoo’s agency said.

The Military Manpower Administration determined the actor’s enlistment would be postponed as it needs to monitor his condition further.
