Korean girl group Sistar’s Soyou and boy band EXO’s Baekhyun will release a song together this month, according to industry insiders.

The pair recently finished recording, they said, noting the collaboration will produce a synergy of vocals. Soyou previously unveiled popular songs “Officially Missing You,” “Some,” “Stupid in Love” and “Lean on Me.”

Baekhyun caused a stir last year when he collaborated with singer and actress Suzy for “Dream,” a jazz-tinged, perky song about a couple falling in love.

EXO, launched in 2012 by S.M. Entertainment, has two subgroups -- EXO-K and EXO-M -- performing in Korean and Mandarin Chinese, respectively. Sistar, comprised of Hyolyn, Bora, Soyou and Dasom, was formed in 2010 under the management of Starship Entertainment.
