Jeon So-mi of disbanded I.O.I graduated from Chungdam middle school on Friday.

“I feel great that I had a fruitful three years in middle school. I think it is a huge change to become a middle school-graduate from an elementary school-graduate,” Jeon said.

Her bandmates from I.O.I also congratulated her, sending regrets for not being able to be at the ceremony, she said.

The 15-year-old singer finished Mnet’s audition program “Produce 101” with the first spot in 2016. The 11 finalists of the show formed a project girl group for one year and disbanded last month.

Jeon is planning to stay with JYP Entertainment.
