JYP Entertainment said Thursday that the agency’s exclusive contract with Suzy will expire on March 31.

The contract between JYP and Suzy started on April 1, 2010. Suzy’s agency said it is discussing with the artist whether or not to renew the deal.

“Many industry insiders are optimistic that the contract will be renewed,” according to a local media outlet Thursday.

Suzy debuted as part of MissA in 2010 under JYP Entertainment. She went solo on Jan. 24 with the album “Yes? No?”
