Kicking off Naver V app’s Wednesday lineup were the members of Winner, who celebrated the Lunar New Year the traditional way by wearing hanbok (traditional Korean costume) and cooking rice cake soup.

Lee Seung-hoon and Kim Jin-woo teamed up in the kitchen to prepare the typical Korean New Year’s dish of rice cake soup. However, there were a few unplanned glitches along the way.

“Oh my god, did we eat all the eggs?” Lee asked.

“No eggs? Don’t you realize how expensive eggs are nowadays?” Kim quickly replied, referring to a recent spike in egg prices in the country due to a supply shortage brought about by a bird flu outbreak.

Struggling a bit with a knife, Lee went on to teach Kim how to properly slice and dice vegetables. Kim admitted this was the first time he was cooking a proper meal.

Teen Top’s Niel also took to Naver’s V app for a broadcast Wednesday.

The singer tuned in from the set of MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” a live music show where Niel performed his new solo single “Love Affair” for the first time.

“The stage looks great and I feel good,” said the singer prior to his performance. “A lot of fans turned up even in this cold weather.”

Teen Top member Ricky was also one of the faces in the audience, cheering on his fellow band mate.

“I’m here to show my support for Niel and his first show,” said Ricky. “I hope all our angelic fans cheer loudly.”

Following his performance, Niel ventured off outside in the freezing cold to greet his fans.

“I worked on this album a lot, along with the new Teen Top album,” he told fans. “I have a feeling that all of the songs on this album will be written by us.”

Also part of Wednesday’s V app lineup was S.M. Entertainment’s newest boy band NCT 127, who aired behind-the-scenes footage of the filming of the group’s new music video for its single “Limitless,” which was released earlier this month.

Meanwhile, the members of Vixx premiered on the V app the music video for the group’s latest single, “I’ll Hold You.” The piano ballad is the first single to be written and composed by the group’s member Hyuk.
