Kim Tae-hee’s brother Lee Wan revealed back in 2014 that he still felt a little awkward around Rain.

“It’s still awkward to be around him,” Lee said. “I use honorifics for him.”

Lee made the comments when he was a cast member on the show “Our Neighborhood Variety” after his costars prodded him for information about Kim and Rain’s relationship.

During an interview in March the actor said that he hasn’t spent much time with the singer, but plans to get to know him better.
“I will go out for a few drinks once they decide to marry,” he said.

Kim’s brother also commented on their possible marriage back in August when he said, “They will figure it out.”

According to an industry insider who claimed to know about the couple, they ‘allegedly‘ had a meeting between families in November.

Rain announced his engagement to Kim on Tuesday.
