Indie guitarist Ahn Jung-jae treated his fans to a live performance via the V app on Friday.

He opened the broadcast wishing everyone a happy new year and then talked about his birthday celebrations.

"You know what? Yesterday was my birthday. I had a small celebration with a friend of mine," he said.

The live performance lasted an hour and 20 minutes with viewers tuning in from all parts of the globe, including the Philippines, Vietnam and Saudi Arabia.

The guitarist engaged fans by asking them to tell him what songs they wanted to hear.

He took requests from his live audience, playing tunes such as “Stay With Me” by Chanyeol of EXO and Punch, the original soundtrack of the TV series “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.”

“I will be on the channel every Thursday at 10:30 p.m. unless there’s a real emergency. Take care of your health and once again, happy new year to all of you watching this show,” Ahn said as he ended the broadcast.

Naver V app's V Movie channel shared live footage of top actress Kim Ha-neul’s interview in which she introduced her new film “Misbehavior.”

When the interviewer asked Ha-neul why she chose this piece of work, she responded, “As an actor, the movie allowed me to touch upon notions of human desire, a sense of inferiority and other complex emotions that we go through in life.”

“It’s an entertaining film that will get people to think about a lot of things,” she said.

The latter half of the interview was a Q&A session. In response to the question “Would you choose to be an actress if you were born again?” she said, “I really love my job. It’s worthwhile. It’s easy to say it, but it’s a job that allows you to live a different life with each role you take on, albeit briefly. It’s a great experience.”

She expressed how much of a joy it is to be acting professionally and be loved by fans.

At the tail end of the interview, Ha-neul encouraged the audience to watch her new film in the theater.
