As the love between main characters Shim Cheong (Jun Ji-hyun) and Heo Jun-jae (Lee Min-ho) solidifies on ongoing TV drama “Legend of the Blue Sea,” the actors’ real life relationships are being brought to light.

Jun Ji-hyun, who plays mermaid Shim, has a son and is happily married to a banker. They celebrated their nuptials in April 2012.

Jun’s husband, Choi Joon-hyuk, is the grandson of a celebrated traditional Korean dress hanbok designer Lee Young-hee, and works for Bank of America.

Local media reports have commented on Choi’s handsome good looks, calling him an equal to the mega Hallyu star Lee Min-ho.

Lee Min-ho, who plays the heir to a corporation who has rebelliously left his family that has been marred by a broken marriage, has reportedly been involved in a relationship with singer and actress Suzy since March 2015.
