Onew of boy band SHINee and Jung Yong-hwa of rock band CN Blue will perform a duet at the 2016 KBS Song Festival on Thursday, according to the broadcaster Monday.

Meanwhile, Chen of boy band EXO and soloist Hwang Chi-yeul will also collaborate with each other for a performance on the same stage

The performances are expected to offer fans a sense of comfort, the broadcaster added.

The news came days after it was announced that boy bands Shinhwa and Seventeen will team up to perform Shinhwa‘s hit songs, while Hwang and duo Davichi will sing the soundtrack to KBS’ hit series “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” and “Descendants of the Sun” together. Also, veteran singer Uhm Jung-hwa and boy band Monsta X will perform together.

The year-end music festival, hosted by actor Park Bo-gum and Seolhyun of AOA, is slated to kick off at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday and is expected to last for about four hours.
