Jinyoung from B1A4 appeared on the entertainment program “Yang Nam Show,” Thursday, in which he said he likes to give gifts when he is in love.

When the emcees Eric Nam and Yang Se-hyeong asked Jinyoung if dating his experience helps the songwriting process, Jinyoung said it does, and that he writes songs based on past love.

The emcees then asked what the most expensive gift Jinyoung has even given a girl.

The 25-year-old said that he once gave a 300,000 won ($250) necklace during high school. The price of the necklace brought gasps of shock from the emcees.

Jinyoung said that at the time he didn’t think it was exorbitant amount at all, but in hindsight he thinks it had all been for nothing.
