Mystic Entertainment announced the details of Korean pop diva Uhm Jung-hwa’s new album, “The Cloud Dream of the Nine,” on Friday.

The songstress is returning to the stage for the first time since her 2008 digital single “D.I.S.C.O Part 2.”

The album’s promotion will kick off with four promotional images, two preview videos and five series of interviews with Uhm’s acquaintances, including actor Jung Woo-sung.

The album’s nine tracks will each tell the story of a dream. Four songs will be released prior to the album’s official release.

The album is named after “Kuunmong,” a 17th-century Korean novel.

“This fantasy genre of literature suits Uhm well,” posted Jo Young-chul, the album’s producer, via social media Thursday. “Uhm Jung-hwa’s new, nine dreams. So excited.”

Uhm debuted as a singer in 1993 and has since become an icon of Korean pop, with hits like “Rose of Betrayal” and “Invitation.” She has also pursued an acting career, starring in films such as “Marriage is a Crazy Thing” (2002) and “Haeundae” (2009).

Uhm’s comeback is set for Dec. 27. The singer will be performing at the 2016 SBS Awards Festival on Dec. 26.
