Apink talked about the release its newest single “Cause You’re My Star” in some behind-the-scenes footage.

The three minute clip was released hours after the official release of the track and music video online Wednesday at midnight.

Naeun said in an interview that she had high expectations for the first-ever special album in Apink‘s career. Namjoo said she “feels like spending the Christmas holiday with fans” while shooting the music video. Leader Chorong picked a silver ball for a Christmas tree decoration and told fans that it reminded her of a ball used for cheering Apink in the past.

The video was released hours after Apink took on a Naver V app live show at 11 p.m. Wednesday.

During the live broadcast, members, all wearing pajamas, played a game called “Apink Remind,” where the members and fans name the song after they hear a second-long segment of it. The game was designed to commemorate their six year career, throughout which Apink released five EPs, six singles and three full-length albums.
