Soloist and former member of boy band MBLAQ Thunder thanked MBLAQ members for their support during the showcase event for his solo debut EP “Thunder” Tuesday.

“MBLAQ members showed support (for my solo career),” said the 26-year-old. “They said I did a good job on the EP.”

He added he learned to compose songs by himself “to become a singer-songwriter.” His 7-year long career in music helped him learn it faster and release the EP.

The showcase took place in Ilchi Art Hall in southern Seoul.

Tracks on “Thunder,” including the lead track “Sign,” are set for release on Tuesday at midnight.
