“Parksamo,” a public online community made up of South Korea President Park Geun-hye sympathizers, bashed actress Kim Yoo-jung for her “insult” toward Park, and pledged to stage a boycott against products she is modeling for.

“Kim‘s political comment is intolerable,” read a post on Tuesday. “As a student, she is little aware of political issues, and she dares to insult the president.”

The writer of the post, which is based on search platform Daum, promised not to buy any product Kim endorses, and asked the community members to join the boycott. This was followed by dozens of online comments in favor of the move.

This came weeks after Kim made an Instagram post about the anti-Park rally that took place on Nov. 19.

“Don’t ever fall down. Stay strong. If you stumble, you can stand up again. Am I right?” the post read.

The Tuesday post on Parksamo saw Kim’s remark as an “insult to the President” and responded with: “Don't ever fall down on your career path as an actress.”

Another post on Wednesday demanded support to track Kim‘s “anti-Park” remarks online.

Kim, who earned worldwide spotlight with her last work "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds," has uploaded two Instagram posts that support the anti-Park protest, on Nov. 12 and 19.

For the past five Saturdays, protesters have taken to the streets across the nation to demand President Park Geun-hye resign. The number of protesters reached 1.9 million nationwide last Saturday. Organizers of the protest are gearing up for a sixth anti-Park rally on Saturday.

Since evidence surfaced in late October that President Park let her longtime friend Choi Soon-sil meddle in state affairs, calls for her to step down have been growing across the nation.
