Bom, a member of recently disbanded group 2NE1, wrote a message to fans Wednesday, following previous messages that the group’s other two members Sandara Park and CL had released.

Apparently shaken by 2NE1’s sudden disbandment, Bom used emotionally charged expressions in the letter, including describing herself as crying “tears of blood.”

She posted the letter on Twitter. Read the English translation below:

To fans around the world,

My dear fans who have loved and protected me always, this is Bom.
You have waited for 2NE1 for such a long time. The only thing I can tell you now is that I’m sorry.
It hurts a lot but I wanted to write to you.
I want you to know that we have given our best.
We looked forward to coming back to the scene and have prepared many things. We had been waiting for the time to come when we would show them to you.
But things don’t always go the way we want in life.
We didn’t spend the past years meaninglessly. There is no way we will be able to instantly forget them.
This is a very sad time, but I will never forget our memories together -- the moments when we were happy and having fun.
I’m crying tears of blood inside. I will treasure our moments together.
When I think about the separation -- with Dara, Chaerin and Minji -- I’m lost for words. I can’t breathe.
I’m getting too emotional to write any further.
The four of us could do anything and everything because the Black Jacks (2NE1’s fan club) were there.
We won’t forget.
