Singer-actor Seo In-guk won a special award for his role in OCN’s TV series “38 Revenue Collection Unit” at the 11th Asian TV Drama Conference on Monday.

Seo, along with the producer-director of the series Han Dong-hwa, was recognized for his dedication to the progress of Asian drama. Seo acted as a swindler sought after by the Korean Tax Collection Bureau.

The drama “38 Revenue Collection Unit” recorded the highest viewership rating for OCN, a cable channel devoted to movies, since it was founded in 1995. It was also recognized for its fresh topic: tax collection.

The 11th Asian TV Drama Conference is currently taking place in Fukuoka, Japan, from Monday through Thursday. Some 150 TV actors and producers from eight Asian countries attended the awards ceremony.
