Among three teaser clips for Webtoon-based drama series “The Sound of Your Heart” released Monday, the third teaser, featuring actor Lee Kwang-soo and webtoonist and author of the eponymous Webtoon Jo Seok, depicted the competitive world of webtoonists.

In the teaser, Jo comes in an elevator and puts down Lee, who was already in, saying Lee “does not have a basic set of drawing skills.” Lee responds by asking the experienced webtoonist to train him.

“The opportunity would be given to those who meet the standard,” Jo says in response. “A legion of tenderfoots draw low-quality pieces, come to our office and beg for a chance, and I’m not in favor of that.”

“I’ve been putting all my efforts forward, and I’m deadline-sensitive,” Lee tells Jo, met with Jo’s response that the deadline does not count, rather quality does.

“How long do you think you can stand on the world of webtoonists?” Jo asks.

Lee, with a smirk on his face, answers with confidence. “That is my question. How long will I stand?”

The first teaser introduced the cast of family members of the protagonist, while the second teaser featured actor Kim Dae-myung, playing protagonist's elder brother.

“The Sound of Your Heart,” based on the one of the longest-running and most popular webtoons in Korea, will revolve around the daily life of a webtoonist, played by Lee.

“The Sound of Your Heart” will premiere on Korean web portal Naver in November and air through KBS2 in December.
