Some 10,000 people applied for the Tuesday fan meet-and-greet event with Lee Joon-gi, according to his agency Namoo Actors, Sunday.

A total of 598 fans were chosen out of the 10,000 applicants. The list is available on the official Facebook page for Namoo Actors.

Lee said he wasn’t prepared for so many applications.

“I was surprised to see so many fans applying for this event,” Lee said via his Instagram account Sunday. “Thank you for your support and love. Let‘s talk more on Tuesday.”

The event is designed to celebrate the final episode of popular periodic series “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo.” Lee, who plays the lead role of Prince Wang So, will watch the episode with fans at the venue, according to the agency.

The event will take place at Lotte World Tour Super Plex G in Seoul.
