Boy band 2PM member Ok Taec-yeon spoke about how, in the past, he looked much older for his age, in a Sunday episode of SBS’ variety show “How to Eat and Live Well.”

“When I was on an audition at the age of 19 for a film, a director asked me if I was a 27-year-old man,” he said.

He added that he “looked like what he looks like now” when he was a middle school student.

The remark came as the production staff of the show compiled a list of some 500 nicknames for the singer turned actor, with one of them saying “Ok Noan.” “Noan” is a Korean word meaning “looking older than those who are the same age.”

The Sunday morning variety show, dedicated to pursuing a higher quality of life, has been filmed at Taec-yeon’s house since Oct. 23.
