Actress Lee Ji-eun, better known as IU, her stage name as a singer, has starred in a commercial for cosmetics brand isoi.

The 23-year-old had signed a 2-year exclusive model deal with isoi in February 2015.

The new commercial shows Lee sending her love to a woman named Sunyoung, who is meant to represent the wider female population.

The commercial runs, “Sunyoung, I love you without you going on a diet,” “I love you without you having to get married,” “I love you without make-up,” before it finally concludes that for this precious Sunyoung, nothing that is harmful should be put in basic skin care products.

Lee currently stars as the female lead in TV drama “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo” next to actor Lee Joon-gi.
