Boy band NCT broadcasted the first episode of their “NCT LIFE” series on the V app on Sunday.

The first episode starts with seven of the thirteen members of NCT doing a traditional Korean food challenge. The members learned how traditional bean paste and soy sauce was made from a highly acclaimed Korean chef.

The members then picked a Korean dish that they wanted to try and make, and headed for the market to pick up the ingredients.

Despite being inexperienced in cooking, the members tried hard to make presentable dishes. The chef then taste-tested each dish and decided whether they passed or failed the Korean food challenge.

Although they all passed the challenge, the chef did not seem impressed at the members‘ cooking skills. He complimented their creativity in making the dishes look nice, but the taste did not live up to the presentation.
