Actor Park Hae-jin shared free hugs with fans in southern resort island of Jeju Saturday and broadcast the scene via live session on Naver’s V app.

“I came to Jeju Island today, and as expected, it is raining here,” the 33-year-old said on his way to the venue. “I had a hair cut. I think it is the shortest since my debut.”

“I questioned myself for having had such long hair before. It is very comfortable,” he added.

He asked the car driver how long it takes to drive around the whole island and expressed surprise. “He says it takes over 3 hours and 40 minutes. The island is bigger than I thought.”

The driver added it was three times the size of the nation’s capital city, Seoul.

Park pledged the hug event last month, when his official fan club, “CLUB Jin’s” held its inauguration ceremony.

Despite the rainy weather, a number of fans stood in line to wait for a hug with Park, who showed affection toward all the fans. He also shook hands with them and greeted them one by one.

The participating fans were not only Koreans but were of different nationalities and the actor greeted them in Japanese and Chinese.

The actor is to star in the next drama, JTBC’s “Man to Man” that is expected to broadcast in 2017.

Singer-turned musical actor Kim Jun-su appeared on Naver’s V app Saturday to show viewers how he spent time before performances, “Dorian Gray.”

Kim and Jin Tae-hwa, who plays the Portrait in the show, played a soccer game on a portable game player.

“I haven’t playing this game in two years,” Kim said. He then asked Jin the basic keys on the remote controller.

When choosing the teams, Kim showed strong confidence. “You should play either Real Madrid or FC Barcelona to have any chance of beating me” he said. The two are leading teams in Europe.

“I will take Real (Madrid),” Jin said.

“You are really taking Real (Madrid), you have no conscience,” he said jokingly.

“I am Korean, so I will take Korea. Since I am South Korean, why don’t you take South Africa?” Jin suggested.

“(Okay.) Let’s go,” Kim answered.

Kim beat Jin 5-3 and expressed satisfaction over the result.

He plays the main character, Dorian and Jin plays Portrait. The musical is on theater until Oct. 29 at Seongnam Arts Center in Seongnam city located on the eastern side of Seoul.
