Shin Min-a is no longer the face of Chum Churum soju, as Bae Suzy, known for her role in TV drama series “Uncontrollably Fond,” has taken up the role.

Shin modeled for the soju brand from early 2013 until September 2016. Her predecessor was singer Lee Hyo-ri, who had long been an icon in the soju industry here.

Fresh commercials featuring Suzy hit the TV on Tuesday, creating a buzz on social media.

Suzy’s latest on-screen character No Eul in “Uncontrollably Fond” was a brazen freelance TV producer who had a penchant for strong liquor.
