Park Jin-young, singer, producer and CEO of JYP Entertainment, produced tracks for project girl group I.O.I, YMC Entertainment confirmed Thursday.

This came after Xports News report on Thursday. It said the 11-member girl group will release a new song produced by Park in October.

Park has produced hit K-pop dance numbers such as Wonder Girls’ “Tell Me,” “So Hot” and “Nobody,” Miss A’s “Bad Girl Good Girl” and Twice’s “Do It Again.” All three girl groups are under JYP Entertainment.

The song will mark the last project for the girl group to release during their yearlong activities.

I.O.I, composed of 11 winners of talent show “Produce 101,” made its debut with “Dream Girls” in May. The latest subunit activities with “Whatta Man” earned the girl group the top spot on SBS MTV’s music program “The Show.”

After I.O.I disbands, each member will return to her respective agency to gear up for a debut or resume their original girl group activities.
