Boy band EXO member Lay is planning on releasing a solo album in China.

According to a representative at S.M. Entertainment, Lay is currently working on his first solo album with the goal of releasing it toward the end of the year.

Lay will be the group’s first member to release a solo album.

Earlier in May, Lay released the solo track “Monodrama,” which blended a rhythm and blues style beat with a guitar accompaniment.
It is still unclear whether he will be promoting his album in Korea, but fans can expect his album to contain more of Lay’s blended R&B style.
