BTOB’s Yook Sung-jae cast for new drama ‘Goblin’

Singer-actor Yook Sung-jae, who is also a member of the the boy band BTOB, has been cast as a scion in the upcoming series “Goblin,” according to local reports Tuesday.

The fantasy-romance drama “Goblin” is written by Kim Eun-sook, who was behind hits such as “The Heirs” and “Descendants of the Sun.”

The series also stars actor Gong Yoo and is poised to air in December.

Yook debuted as an actor in 2013 in tvN’s “Reply 1994.” He has also starred in series such as “Plus Nine Boys,” “Who are You: School 2015” and “The Village: Achiara’s Secret.”
