Episode 13 of MBC‘s “W” aired on Thursday, and fans have already begun theorizing the drama’s ending.

With only three episodes left, fans of “W” are beginning to wonder whether the drama will have a happy or sad ending.

Thursday‘s episode ended on a cliff hanger with Oh Yeon-joo (played by Han Hyo-joo) being shot by the villain that looks like her father. This spurred Kang-chul (played by Lee Jong-suk) to try to save her.

This left fans burning with curiosity over how the drama will end, and some fans have begun sharing their fan theories online.

One fan predicted, “Kang-chul will take the tablet (that allows the webtoon world to exist) into the webtoon world. He will then draw Oh back to life and they will have a happy ending.

Another fan theorized that they would reset the webtoon world with Oh inside, rendering her to lose all her memories of Kang-chul, the same way he lost his memories of Oh.

Some fans have theorized a less happy ending, with Kang-chul sacrificing his life to save Oh’s.

Whether any of these fan theories are accurate has yet to be revealed, but the drama is nearing its end with the finale scheduled for Sept. 14.
