Boys 24

Behind-the-scenes footage of boy band Boys 24’s recent performance on Mnet’s music program “M! Countdown” were released through the group’s official Naver V app account Sunday.

Boys 24 members were to perform “Rising Star” on the program Thursday.

“Rising Star” is the theme song of Mnet’s audition program “Boys 24,” whose 24 winners make up the project boy band of the same name.

Boys 24’s members seemed amazed at the fan turnout.

“I did not expect such a lot of fans to come to our show in the early morning,” Jinseok said before going onstage.

The clip also showed how they selected Chani and Jinseob as emcees for their Naver V App live show Friday.

UNIQ

Chinese-Korean quintet UNIQ shared updates in a live broadcast Sunday.

Hosted by Kim Sung-joo and Li Wenhan, the show mainly featured calling other members through Facetime.

Kim first tried to call bandmate Zhou Yixuan twice, but he did not answer. They then tried contacting another member Wang Yibo, who immediately answered.

Wang said he was on location for a drama series abroad.

While they were reaching out to Cho Seung-youn through Facetime, they received a call from Zhou, who was abroad for the shooting of a drama series as well. Zhou was in Shenzhen and added that he could not pick up the calls initially because he was having his hair done.

Kim and Li contacted Cho again and found that Cho was visiting his family. Cho said he was preparing for a new project, but did not give any details about it.

Eric Nam

Singer-songwriter Eric Nam endorsed girl group Spica through a live broadcast Saturday.

Both Nam and Spica had both been under B2M Entertainment, before they moved to another agency CJ E&M earlier this year.
“Today I would like to introduce my longtime co-workers to fans,” Nam said.

Spica was about to perform its newly released single “Secret Time” for the first time on MBC’s music program “Show! Music Core.”
Nam imitated some “Secret Time” dance choreography moves, raising his legs with his back on the floor, which made Spica members laugh.

When asked how they felt about “Secret Time” after a 22-month hiatus, Spica’s members all agreed that they “feel like they are making their debut (again).”
