Uhm Tae-woong has been accused of sexually assaulting a massage therapist, the police reported on Tuesday.

The Bundang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province of South Korea, confirmed that Uhm has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a massage parlor in Bundang in January. An investigation into the matter has been launched.

A delegate from the police said, “We are still looking into the case. We cannot disclose anything as of yet, as things are still uncertain. We cannot reveal whether the woman who filed complaints against Uhm is an employee at the massage parlour. We will investigate as to whether there was intercourse between the plaintiff and the defendant, and if the intercourse was coerced.”

Uhm is well-known for his appearance in reality TV show “Return of Superman” with his daughter, Uhm Ji-on. Uhm dropped out of the program in November 2015. He has also featured in several movies, such as “Forever the Moment” (2007) and “Architecture 101” (2012).
