Hyolyn, the leader of K-pop quartet Sistar, will perform at the electronic dance music festival “Ultra Singapore” in the country on Sep.11, according to Starship Entertainment on Thursday.

Industry watchers said it is rare for a K-pop idol to be invited directly by an event organizer.

The two-day festival starts on Sep.10. Its lineup features some of the hottest DJs and EDM producers including Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Alesso, Axwell & Ingrosso, Deadmau5, Kygo, Nero, DJ Snake, Zhu, Far East Movement, Jauz, Marshmello and W&W.

There will be three themed stages at the event and Hyolyn will be featured on the Live stage.
