S.M. Entertainment announced Wednesday EXO member Kai will not be involved in promotional activities for the K-pop group’s latest album, as he is injured.

A representative at S.M. said, “Kai is focused on healing and recovering from his ankle injury, and will not be participating in album promotions and show appearances.”

He added that Kai had been involved in recording the album and filming its music video.

EXO will release its repackaged album Thursday at midnight on online local music platforms.

The album will include the new tracks “LOTTO,” “Can’t Bring Me Down,” “She’s Dreaming,” and “Monster (LDN Noise Creeper Bass Remix),” as well as nine tracks from its third full-length album.
