The diet routines of Korean celebrities were put under the spotlight on Monday after they were featured on local cable channel tvN’s “The List 2016.”

The episode showed how celebrities, including actor Kim Woo-bin and AOA‘s Seolhyun, among others, lost weight through intensive workout and diet plans.

Kim, who is currently in KBS 2TV’s “Uncontrollably Fond,” is known for his bulky physique. However, at the beginning of his career he was a slender model.

To achieve his muscular physique Kim worked-out 2-5 hours per day, which included 200 push-ups, giving him a shoulder width of 57 centimeters -- about 10cm above the Korean average

AOA‘s Seolhyun also changed her appearance through a grueling diet and exercise regime. When she debuted with AOA, she weighted over 60 kilograms. Formerly a model for a local school uniform brand, she gained some weight in her early 20s.

To keep her body in shape Seolhyun had one meal a day and kept to high-protein foods that involved chicken breasts and sweet potatoes. She also did cardio workouts along with muscle-building exercises.
