Singer and actor Rain is scheduled to attend the ’MTV Asia Music GALA 2016‘ in China.

A representative at Rain‘s agency, Rain Company, revealed on Thursday that the Hallyu superstar is planning to attend the ’MTV Asia Music GALA 2016‘ in Shenzhen, China.

The event is a joint awards festival with MTV China and Tencent QQ, and will be held at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center.

Alongside Rain will be “Gangnam Style” super star Psy and K-pop boy band Winner, as well as other top artists in Asia.

Following the awards festival, Rain is scheduled to begin filming for the Chinese drama “Endless August” in Shanghai with f(x) member Victoria.
