“Uncontrollably Fond” hit a new ratings high Monday, as celebrity Shin Joon-young confessed his love to No Eul.

Played by Kim Woo-bin, Shin gave No (Bae Suzy) a teddy bear gift at his concert as he revealed his affection for her.

The story behind Shin’s romantic performance goes back to the previous episode where Shin suggested he and No date for three months when he agreed to No’s request to appear in her documentary.

No was taking a video of Shin singing a ballad at his concert, and soon realized that he was looking directly at her while singing a love song.

No was flustered when text appeared on the screen behind Shin saying, “There is a person I love right here, today I will confess my love.”

Shin took the bewildered No by the hand and brought her to the stage.

With all fans present, Shin surprised No again with a teddy bear, but it looked the same as one Shin had gave her during high school as a prank.

Thinking back, No refused Shin’s gift considering it to be a joke again.

Monday’s episode of KBS drama “Uncontrollably Fond” hit its highest viewer ratings yet at 14 percent, according a local researcher Nielsen Korea. The figure was 2 percentage points higher than its previous episode.
