Many Korean celebrities are active on Instagram, but which are the most popular?
The following hallyu stars boast millions of followers:
1. G-Dragon

Coming in at first place is the one and only Korean mega star G-Dragon. With 9.7 million followers, Big Bang’s leader and international fashion icon G-Dragon is the king of Instagram in Korea.
2. EXO’s Chan-yeol

In second place is EXO’s Chan-yeol with 7.4 million followers. Chan-yeol overtook Girls’ Generation Taeyeon to clinch second place last year, showing his growing popularity.
3. Tae-yeon of Girls’ Generation

Dropping to third place with 7.3 million followers is Girls’ Generation Tae-yeon. Tae-yeon maintains a strong number of followers, with more joining her each day.
4. EXO’s Se-hun

In fourth place is EXO’s Sehun with 6.8 million followers. Although he lags behind fellow group member Chanyeol, Sehun is less active than Chanyeol on Instagram, with only half the number of posts, making it a noteworthy feat that he still managed to garner this many followers.
5. EXO’s Baek-hyun

Fifth place goes to EXO’s Baek-hyun with 6.5 million followers. He has fewer posts on Instagram than Se-hun, but has still managed to attract an impressive army of followers.
