Kim Jun-su of K-pop trio JYJ held a live broadcast on Naver’s V app Saturday.
In the broadcast, Kim held a large stuffed Pororo -- the cartoon penguin character popular with children in Korea -- while singing “Pretty,” a song included on his fourth album, “Xignature,” which was released in May.

Halfway through the video, he facetiously cuddled the doll and eyed it lovingly, as he sang, “You‘re so pretty, pretty. Everything about you is resplendent.” He changed the original lyrics, “I like you even when you are not dressed up” to “I like you even if your lips are yellow,” to make the lyrics suitable for the penguin, arousing laughter from behind the camera.

Kim played the piano toward the end of the clip, further demonstrating his musical talents.

Girl group DIA showed up on Naver’s V app at their autograph-signing event and an outdoor performance in Daegu on Saturday.
“This is our first time holding an event in Daegu. We will visit Busan next time for a similar event,” the group said.

Despite the rainy weather, many people had gathered to watch the performance wearing raincoats or holding umbrellas.
One of the band members left the stage to shake hands with the audience during the performance, exciting the crowd. Some of the audience went to the stage to high-five DIA members after the show concluded.

B.I.G.

B.I.G., a boy band quintet, held an outdoor performance yesterday at Dongdaemun in Seoul. They sang songs from their newest album, “Aphrodite,” which was released in May, as the audience cheered.
