CNBLUE’s member Kang Min-hyuk and Laboum’s member Solbin will replace actor Park Bo-gum and Red Velvet’s member Irene as the cohosts of the music show “Music Bank,“ according to a news release by Laboum’s agency NH EMG on Monday.

“This is so great an opportunity to me, and I should do my best to be a ‘mascot’ of the show,” Solbin said in the statement.

The announcement comes after the show’s broadcaster KBS 2TV said on Monday that Kang and Solbin had been picked as the new emcees through an audition.

“It is an honor to meet fans from various nations through KBS 2TV (and its program ‘Music Bank’) that is expanding its global reach.” said rock band CNBLUE’s member Kang.

Despite not having an acquaintance with each other, Kang and Solbin improvised a greeting line at the “Music Bank.”
Park and Irene were on the show for almost 14 months.
