Singer and actor Park Yoo-chun’s scandal has dealt a blow to an upcoming thriller film he features in.

Park had been on location for his second film work, tentatively named “Lucid Dream,” in April 2015, four months before he started his compulsory service as a public agent.

Park was reported to have taken the role of a companion who assists the protagonist (Ko Soo) with finding his missing son.

“We cannot make any further comments until the police investigation is over,” a staff member from the film’s distributor Next Entertainment World told local daily Sports Chosun. “We are going through the postproduction process right now. We are planning to release the film in the second half of this year, regardless of the scandal.”

Park had been sued by four women on sexual assault charges as of Monday. Park’s agency C-Jes Entertainment said they would take legal actions against the four for defamation.
